went downtown with kb and james to the german christmas market in daley plaza and then rode the holiday el before pie.   SO MUCH HOLIDAY CHEER.

my first day babysitting this break, so we made cookies. it was brenna’s last day of school before christmas and immediately upon getting home at eleven she changed into her pajamas on her own, i never saw more of myself in her than in that moment.

tried putting an egg in my ramen for the first time, it was really great.

today, i ate an obscene number of cookies, went for a walk, played a young player’s version of trivial pursuit from 1984, and received a text from chacha that said, “a group of foxes is a rare and lovely sight, beautiful to behold.  a group of foxes is called a skulk.”
